Chatwal Hotels ties up with Wyndham Group

The Chatwal Hotels & Resorts has tied-up with the Wyndham Hotel group to franchise and manage the Dream and Night boutique hotel brands globally.

The announcement was made at a press conference at The Chatwal New York on March 23 by Sant Singh Chatwal, chairman and chief executive officer of the Chatwal Hotels and Eric Danziger, president and chief executive officer of the New Jersey-based Wyndham group.

The Chatwal's tie-up with Wyndham, hotel company with more than 7,150 hotels and approximately 605,700 rooms, enables Wyndham to add design-driven and avante garde brands to its diverse portfolio.

The Dream and Night brands, the Chatwal Hotels newest offering, will leverage Wyndham's global distribution system, Wyndham Rewards loyalty programme.

The New York-based Chatwal Hotels & Resorts will continue to own the Dream and Night brand trademarks and intellectual property.

The Chatwal group owns and manages 10 hotels in New York, two in India, one in London and one in Bangkok.

Dream and Night hotels are open in New York, Bangkok and Cochin.

The 108-room, Art-Deco-inspired Dream South Beach is scheduled to open later this year in Miami.

The Night brand, which Wyndham plans to develop in primary and secondary markets, will be positioned as an 'affordably chic' hotel option featuring services such as guest deejays in lounges, discounts for green motorists with hybrid and electric cars and gourmet quick-serve food and beverage options.
