BSE: Top gainers and losers

Snapping its six-day losing streak markets surged over 1% higher after after the Reserve Bank of India kept key policy rates unchanged in its mid-quarter monetary policy on Wednesday. 

The 30-share Sensex was up 248 points at 20,859 and the 50-share Nifty was up 78 points at 6,217.
