Wal-Mart Stores has topped Fortune's list of the 500 biggest US companies by revenue.
With robust sales, the company bounced back to the top spot in the Fortune 500 list after slipping to No. 2 last year.
The 500 largest US companies made a stellar performance with the combined earnings at $820 billion in 2012.
