The metamorphosis began when auto makers flocked from various parts of the world and invested their money in India.

Today, the country is one of the most thriving automotive markets, ranked amongst the fastest growing in the world.

It can be gauged by the number of car makers foraying into the market. A lot of new models were launched last year and more brands are heading this year too.
