he largest carmaker in India, Maruti Suzuki, launched the new variant of Ritz at the beginning of the New Year. The car is priced at Rs 615,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

If you wondering what special about the model, it's the automatic transmission, which is offered with VXI petrol variant.

The company also offers an optional ABS trim level variant.

The official launch took place in Mumbai where it is priced at Rs 643,000.

Its competitors, Hyundai i10 for example, has automatic variant (starts at Rs 524,000) in their portfolio since a long time. It was long due that Maruti adds this variant to its bouquet of offerings.
