Mercedes CLA 45 AMG: Incredibly fast, stunningly beautiful

German luxury car maker Mercedes Benz launched its compact performance sedan CLA 45 AMG priced at Rs 68.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Bullish on the growing demand for luxury performance cars, the company also said it would launch the CLA-Class sedan in the next six months.

The car was first showcased to the Indian masses at the 2014 Auto Expo and looking at the growing popularity of the AMG class of vehicles, company launched this vehicle to allure the young auto enthusiasts of the country.

The front profile is the facsimile of A-Class hatchback with diamond radiator grille on which company’s logo can be seen connecting the thick chrome slat.

The side profile is brandished by flared wheel arches that have been affixed with aluminium coated star-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels while the glossy black finishing to the window sills and roof lays emphasis on its AMG character.

The rear portion is muscular with uniquely designed taillight cluster, sportier three step bumper and the four trapezoidal exhaust outlets showing AMG traits.

Interiors

Although this is the bargain Benz, the interiors of CLA 45 AMG largely escapes from the cost cutting knife.

The cabin has been given the traditional flavour with clean centre stack design and close-fitting and finishing that imparts premium and classic feel of the Merc line of cars. Again the same A-class design language can be seen here.

In terms of safety, the CLA 45 AMG offers an array of standard and advance features to the prospective buyer.
