Lykan Hypersport

Company: W Motors

Country of origin: The United Arab Emirates

Cost: $3.4 million

W Motors, the first Arab manufacturer of hypercars in the Middle East, launched the Lykan HyperSport at the International Qatar Motor Show on July 28, 2013. The company says the $3.4 million car will be limited to only seven units worldwide. It packs in 750 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine and is capable of 245mph.

Gumpert Apollo

Company: Gumpert

Country of origin: Germany

Cost: About $550,000

Gumpert, which is named after its founder, Roland Gumpert, began producing Apollo in 2005. The car packs in 650 horsepower, can go up to 360km/h (224mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h (0-62mph) in just three seconds.

Spania GTA traces its history to 1994 when its founder and owner, Domingo Ochoa, launched his own team after working for 30 years in the automobile industry. The company then decided to introduce a car that combines all the available technology with perfect sportsmanship, elegance and exclusivity.

GTA Spano is a 780-horsepower monster that can go from standstill to 60mph in under three seconds. Ensuring exclusivity, Spania GTA says only 99 Spanos will ever hit the road.

Pagani, which was founded in 1992, launched Huayra after the success of its another hypercar, Zonda. The 720-horsepower beast is currently the fastest road-legal and streetworthy car ever to go round the Top Gear Test Track, according to Wikipedia.

Maybach Laundaulet

Cost: $1.38 million

German manufacturer Daimler's Laundaulet is powered by 620-horsepower, turbocharged V12 engine. The roof of the luxury car can be opened fully at the rear, while the chauffeur's compartment remains completely enclosed. The passengers seated in opulent armchairs upholstered in white leather are treated to an open-air experience. Opening and closing of the roof takes just 16 seconds, according to the company's website.
