Chaserrugg

Since 1934, the Iltios has been easily accessed by funicular railroad. Today, this place is a mid-station and the starting point of an 8-minute ride by aerial cableway up the Chaserrugg.

Ebenalp and Wildkirchli

Even the Neanderthals were on Ebenalp (Eben Alp). There are three caves, and it is proven that prehistoric people once lived in them.

There is a mountain restaurant and an altar at the Wildkirchli Caves. A cable car whisks visitors comfortably to the Alps.

Eggishorn

You will reach the summit of the Eggishorn at 2,926 metres above sea level.

The Gemmi Train climbs the steep Gemmi face to the wonderful mountain world of the Gemmi Region, which is famous for its rich traditions.

The Gemmi Train was built in 1957 and has since then transported many a guest to an elevation of 2,350 meters.

Giessbach funicular

The Giessbach funicular, a meter-gauge train opened on July 21, 1879, climbs a length of 345 meters and overcomes 93 meters in height.

Its destination is the Giessbach-See pier owned by Grand Hotel Giessbach. The mountain station is 666 meters above sea level, almost exactly 100 meters above Lake Brienz.

Hohensaas

The railway takes you up from the bottom station to Kreuzboden, where many lovely paths begin, a mountain trout lake competes with the blue of the sky and the children enjoy the Hohsi-Land playground.

The 2nd section to Hohsaas, at 3,200 metres above sea level, gives a view of 18 four thousand-metre mountains and across the national border to Monte Rosa.

Laucheralp

The Loschental has for a long time been the end of the world and so has remained wonderfully unspoiled. A mountain climbers' Eldorado opens up from the Lauchernalp onwards.

The high level path to the fantastic viewing point of the 40, four thousand metre mountains starts there. The glacier cable car to the 3293-meter Hockenhorn operates only in winter.
