While getting a job in any company is difficult in these tough economic times, it's especially true in some most sought-after firms. There are some companies where job seekers have to go several interviews stretching in some cases to weeks and even months. Those who make it get a hefty package.

According to Glassdoor, a job and career website, the average base salary at McKinsey & Co is $127,000 per year.
