Mahindra launched its electric car, the e20, in a new avatar -- the e20Plus. The car now comes with four doors and in four variants. The top variant, P8, costs Rs 8.46 lakh. On a single charging, the car can travel 140 km. There is also provision for fast charging, in around 90 minutes.
 
Tata Hexa
 
 
Tata Motors is banking heavily on its new SUV, the Tata Hexa. Expected to cost upwards of Rs 13 lakh, it will be launched early 2017. It is powered by a 2179cc, 4-cylinder, turbocharged, Varicor 400 engine and will have an option for a manual or automatic transmission.
 
Volvo S90
 
Volvo Auto India will launch a new luxury sedan, S90,
in a single variant. The car is powered by a 1969cc D4 diesel engine and will have an automatic 8-speed transmission. It will have Eco, Comfort and Dynamic drive modes and is expected to cost between Rs 55 lakh and Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
 
New Toyota Fortuner
 
The new Toyota Fortuner is confirmed to hit Indian roads by November. Among other improvements, it will come with a more powerful engine. Priced Rs 20 lakh and above, it will boast of redesigned exterior and interiors.
 
New Hyundai Tucson
 
Showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Tucson will now be launched it mid-November. It was launched in India several years ago but was discontinued. This third-generation model will be priced around Rs 20 lakh. Owing to the Fluidic 2.0 design language, the car is expected to have some sharp styling.
