The sale of 250 units within 60 days definitely sets a yardstick

Realty firm Supertech, on Tuesday, claimed it has sold 250 apartments worth Rs 150 crore in its housing project in Gurgaon within two months from the launch.

The company is offering the units at Rs 48 lakh in its project Azalia, Superetch said in a statement.

"There have been several reports about lack of appetite in NCR’s real estate market but as the success of our project amply demonstrates, there are buyers in large numbers if we offer quality projects at right price.

The sale of 250 units within 60 days definitely sets a yardstick and points at an upward trend in the residential real-estate market," Superetch chairman R K Arora said.

Meanwhile, the Allahabad high court had in April 2014 ordered to demolish Supertech's two 40-storey towers in a Noida housing project. The company has challenged the high court order in the Supreme Court.

The two towers -- Apex and Ceyane -- having a combined 857 apartments, of which about 600 flats are sold.
