Bengal to shop for investors in US, Japan, UK
A business delegation from West Bengal led by West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation chairman Somnath Chatterjee, former member of Parliament, will visit Japan, the USA and the United Kingdom from June 26 to attract industrial investment in the state. The delegation comprises senior government officials, representatives of chambers of commerce, heads of key state government undertakings and top executives of eminent industrial houses, the WBIDC sources said in Calcutta today.
