Asia trade show in Wembley to showcase Indian products, services

A unique trade show, Zee TV Asia Live, is being held in London in August this year to showcase Asian products of diverse origin and offer a varied range of consumer durables.

Organised by Capital Media Limited of London, the show will give predominance to products and services from several Asian and other developing countries. The show will be held from August 28 to 30 at Wembley. It will be opened for trade only on August 27.

There are approximately 1.8 million Asians living in Britain and almost 750,000 Asians living around the 48 kilometre radius of Wembley where the show is to take place. About 250,000 Asians are expected to visit the show.

Zee TV, which reaches 38 million homes in six countries, is carrying coverage of the show, which will include the London International Jewellery and Watch Exhibition at the same venue.

A large number of Indian jewellers are expected to take part. The programme will include a culinary taste of India, bridal products, tourism and Asian arts and crafts.

Emphasis will be given to items which have the export potential.

Apart from the main show, the 2,500-seat auditorium at Wembley will also feature entertainment shows with stars from Bollywood and some local artistes presenting musical and variety programmes.
