Union Commerce Minister Ramakrishna Hegde today said India wanted a review of the implementation process of the earlier World Trade Organisation agreements before going ahead with the WTO's Millennium Round of talks to be held at Seattle in the United States of America.

Speaking to media-persons in Madras today, he said: "We are not against talks, but we would want the implementation process to be reviewed."

He said his ministry had appointed several groups to work out concerted strategies regarding WTO agreements and talks.
