Reliance Petro despatches first set of products from Jamnagar

The first set of products -- high speed diesel and liquified petroleum gas -- manufactured by the Reliance Petroleum Limited at its refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat, has been despatched to the public sector oil companies for marketing.

The marketing will commence from next week, according to RPL.

The Reliance group has invested Rs 142.50 billion for setting up the refinery that has an annual production capacity of 27 million tonnes (540,000 barrels per day). Production operations at the Jamnagar unit began last week.
