Bombay-Sinnar expressway tipped to help hotel industry

The Maharashtra government will soon sanction a Sinnar-Bombay expressway for the upcoming hotel industry along with an independent thermal power station for the industry, Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde said.

Munde was speaking after the traditional inauguration ceremony for the proposed Rs 150 million additional allocation for water supply in Bombay. Rural development minister Anna Dange presided over the function.

Munde further said the Sinnar Industrial Estate will start functioning within a year and a decision to sanction a 158 mega-watt independent thermal power supply centre for SIE will be taken soon.

He said presently the government spent Rs 3.52 billion in various schemes for Nashik district while Rs 650 million will be used for schemes in Sinnar.
