Be prepared for hard decisions: PM

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today said his goverenment might need to take 'hard decisions' in view of the 'worrisome economic situation' of the country.

Addressing BJP workers at the party's 18th foundation day celebrations in New Delhi, Vajpayee urged the saffron cadres to fan out and explain such decisions in proper perspective to enable the masses to understand the situation.

''It is in the interest of the nation that every one cooperates with us,'' he said reminding his party workers of the great responsibility they had in building a prosperous India where there is no room for fear, hunger and corruption.
