Rediff.com, India’s favorite website, today announced a range of new services and an aggressive strategy aimed at making it an international online brand.

The new services for India users include:

* A facility to look up flight-timings and seat availability of all Indian and international airlines – this means that everything a travel agent can see on his terminal you can too through Rediff.com.
* Central Railway timings and berth availability.
* VPP payment options on Rediff’s popular eCommerce services apart form the current Indian credit card and cheque facility; deliveries now cover 1500 locations in India besides serving every world location through Federal Express.
* ‘News Now’ that flashes round the clock news updates onto users’ desktops.
* Live stock prices/volume updates from BSE + free portfolio tracker.
The new US Edition created by 16 US-based correspondents has news, features and a listing of local events for nine US cities and a specially tailored E-commerce service that among other things will enable users in the United States to book tickets to various Indian music shows and concerts.
With over 80 million hits a month, Rediff.com is India’s most accessed online service. Rediff.com continues to offer services like Chat, Free e-mail, Free Personal Home Pages, Movie Tickets in Mumbai, Jobs, Singles, Education, etc. apart from its popular E-Commerce services.
Rediff.com also announced that it now has minority investments from three international investors: Draper, Intel Corp and Warburg Pincus.
